They did offer us to come back for $30/person since we booked through this third party. We had high expectations and truly know they can be met as I have read many reviews on multiple platforms and have heard firsthand how great this company is! I know these are wild animals with their own agendas, but we were hoping to see more than just one. It was tough because the boat right before us were all beaming and telling us all about their tour and how they had seen “so many” as well as Jimmy saying that they were the best tour they had had all year! Then we went out immediately after them and had the complete opposite experience. The rest of time we were in the water and did not see any manta rays at all! Jimmy and Kelly were amazing and worked hard on our behalf unfortunately, our group only saw one ray “fly by” as we were initially getting into the water. Let me preface with this with they have hired amazing employees who started our night off great! We flew in from Oahu and this was our first stop as we have heard RAVE reviews from past friends and acquaintances who have booked your tour. They did have ginger tea and candies available on shore after the tour which was thoughtful. If I had known ahead of time I would have taken Dramamine. I mention this because this is not something I was expecting even after reading tons of reviews and want to warn other people who are like me to come prepared. I have really bad issues with motion sickness in general and this was some of the worst motion sickness I have ever experienced. Unfortunately that happened to both of us. The three sightings we did see, though brief, were very exciting.Īlso, they warned us right before we got in the water of the possibility of getting motion sick while snorkeling because you are hanging onto a surf board, looking down, getting rocked by the waves. The mantas didn’t hang around or come close, which was disappointing but we understand that they’re wild animals and this is all well out of the tour company’s control. Unfortunately we only saw a few “fly-bys” as they called them. They explained things well and Cory, our guide in the water, was very knowledgeable about the mantas. Once things got moving, the staff were great. 51 Manta Rays Hawaii Premium High Res Photos Browse 51 manta rays hawaii stock photos and images available, or start a new search to explore more stock photos and images.
